Silver Award Girl Scouts

Have you ever looked around your neighborhood or school and wondered how you could make a change for the better? Going for the Girl Scout Silver Award—the highest award a Girl Scout Cadette can earn—gives you the chance to do big things and make your community better in the process.

You can pursue your Girl Scout Silver Award if: 
  • You're in sixth, seventh, or eighth grade (or equivalent)
  • You're a registered Girl Scout Cadette 
  • You have completed a Cadette Journey
  • You have submitted your Silver Award Project Proposal Form for approval
Steps to Earn your Silver Award with Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona:

Follow and complete the Silver Award Guidelines. Show the world that you are a leader who is organized, determined, and dedicated to improving your community. Use the Silver Award Hour Log to keep track of your hours as you complete your SIlver Award Project.

After completing the project, each girl on the Silver Award team completes her own  Silver Award Final Report

Receive your Silver Award honors at our annual Young Women of Distinction ceremony. Final Reports must be submitted by April 1 to participate in this year's Young Women of Distinction ceremony.
