Girl Scouts is for everyone!

As part of our dedication to investing in Girl Scout leadership, our council makes funds available for Girl Scouts and their families who need additional support in order to access council programs and opportunities.

Assistance may be granted for up to half the cost of the program and will not cover late registration fees or add-ons, if applicable. All information provided is confidential. Your girl must be (or become) a registered Girl Scout to apply for Financial Assistance and to attend the program.

Requests for financial assistance must be completed by a caregiver. Troop leaders are not permitted to submit this form on behalf of troop members.

Campership toggle arrow

Campership, or assistance, may be granted for up to half the cost of one in-person camp session and will not cover late registration fees or add-ons, if applicable. Your Girl Scout must be (or become) a registered Girl Scout to apply for a Campership and to attend camp. This form must be completed by a caregiver (troop leaders are not permitted to submit this form for troop members).

Please make sure that you register at least two weeks before the camp to guarantee on-time delivery, and understand that processing time will vary based on the number of applicants. Please submit one form per Girl Scout.

Attention Troop Leaders: Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona will no longer be providing financial aid to renew Girl Scouts who participated in Product programs. Spending the troop’s money wisely is important.

Invest in uniforms to keep everyone looking sharp and ready to bridge to the next level
Getting bridging supplies or kits for special occasions
Registering for Girl Scout Summer camp, Camporee, with a Service Unit or Jamboree that the Council hosts
Participating in Programs and Events

If applicable, please make a deposit to hold your spot while waiting for a financial aid response. If the request is denied, the deposit WILL be refunded to you. This is just to ensure that spots will not fill up while waiting on the status. Please submit one form per Girl Scout.

Travel Scholarships toggle arrow

Please note that travel scholarships are only available for Destinations and council trips.

Travel Scholarships for Destinations

Every year, our council secures funding for scholarships that must be used for Destinations trips. These funds are usually allocated to first-round applicants so be sure to apply early—apply by November 15 to be eligible for scholarship funding!

Fairy Godsister Scholarship

Each year at least one special Fairy Godsister full scholarship will be awarded to a Girl Scout who is attending either a GSUSA Destination trip or a GSSOAZ Council-sponsored trip. For more information, read the brochure here.

Uniform Assistance toggle arrow

Fill out the Opportunity Fund Application for Uniform Assistance and return it to a Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona Shop, or email it to shoporders@girlscoutssoaz.org. Uniform payment assistance only applies to uniform essentials. Each Girl Scout child is limited to one uniform per level.

Those needing financial assistance are encouraged to contribute any amount that they can afford or to utilize their Girl Scout's Cookie Dough funds, if applicable.

Girl Scouts must have a current membership on file to be eligible for uniform assistance.
