Camp Whispering Pines
Easy breezy since 1955.
Camp Whispering Pines is located in the Santa Catalina Mountains on 16.5 acres of rolling ridgetop at an elevation of almost 8,000 feet. It offers an unforgettable mountain camping experience for all ages and abilities. An array of outdoor and indoor programming spaces are available on-site, including an archery range, a performance center, a large main lodge, and plenty of access to scenic hiking trails. Bungalows, cabins, and a large group troop house are available for campouts.
Camp Whispering Pines is available for reservation from the beginning of April through the end of May, and the beginning of August to the end of October. Reservations must be made up to 14 days in advance for overnight accommodations and archery so that staff and facilitators can be arranged.
Please note that CWP has very limited wireless reception and no
wireless internet, cable, or other technologies—the perfect way to
escape to the mountains with zero distractions! If you have questions

Non-Girl Scout users must rent the entire property and contact MacGyver prior to booking.
Making a Reservation
- Click the button below to navigate to our reservation system.
- Select the Category drop-down to choose from areas and activities.
- Choose a Date and Duration of your reservation.
- Click Reserve next to the area or activity you selected.
- Repeat steps 1 - 3 until all of your desired areas and activities are in your Reservation on the right hand side.
