The Gold Award Committee is made up of Council volunteers who support and mentor Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona Gold Award candidates. Meeting the 4th Wednesday of the month, Seniors and Ambassadors are welcome to attend one or more Gold Patrol Workshops during the committee meeting via Zoom.
These workshops are an opportunity to meet the committee, receive your Gold Award mentor assignment and basically check in and see if you're on the right track.
Candidates must attend at least one Gold Patrol workshop after training is completed and prior to submission of Gold Award Proposal. Be prepared to take notes and talk about your project ideas, tentative plan, potential team members.
To register for the Gold Patrol Workshop, please click on the link below. Submission of the form indicates that you will attend the indicated Gold Patrol Workshop. An email receipt of your request will be sent and a follow up email the Monday prior will be sent providing the Zoom sign in information.
Only requests submitted by the Sunday prior to the Gold Award Committee meeting will be honored. Registrations for the current month will not be accepted after midnight the Sunday prior.
You must be a registered member of Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona.
The Gold Award Online Training is a prerequisite to your attendance.

El Comité del Premio de Oro (Gold Award) está formado por voluntarios del Concilio que apoyan y orientan a las candidatas al Gold Award de Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona. El comité se reúne el cuarto miércoles de cada mes, y las chicas de los niveles Senior y Ambassador pueden asistir a uno o varios talleres de Gold Patrol durante la reunión del comité a través de Zoom.
Estos talleres son una oportunidad para conocer al comité, recibir la asignación de tu mentor para el Gold Award y, básicamente, hacer un balance para comprobar si vas por buen camino.
Las candidatas deben asistir al menos a un taller de Gold Patrol una vez completada la formación y antes de presentar la propuesta para el Gold Award. Prepárate para tomar notas y hablar sobre tus ideas de proyecto, el plan provisional y los posibles compañeros de equipo.

Se te enviará un correo electrónico de confirmación de tu solicitud y, el lunes anterior, recibirás un correo electrónico de seguimiento con la información de acceso a Zoom.
