The 2025 Vail Camporee will take place at Camp Whispering Pines, Mt. Lemmon, AZ from Friday September 12th through Sunday September 14th.
* If space permits other SU troops are permitted to attend at a first come first serve bases. Registration for other areas will open August 18th.
Please plan to arrive Friday between 4pm and 7pm. If you'll need to arrive later than 7pm, please let us know so we can make arrangements to have someone greet you. Departure on Sunday is no later than 10:30am.
The registration fee is $35 per person (for Girl Scouts and adult volunteers) to attend. Registration covers:
-facility rental and lodging fees
-activity expenses (i.e. arts/craft supplies, archery and/or slingshot usage, etc.)
-an all-camp lunch on Saturday
-pirate themed patch and t-shirt representing are 2025 camporee theme
All attendees must be registered with GSUSA for the current girl scout year which runs from 1 October 2024 - 30 September 2025. All adult volunteers must be registered with background checks completed & approved prior to camp. All participants’ registration status will be verified with Council prior to the start of camp.
At least one adult from each troop must be First Aid and CPR certified and at least one adult from each troop must be Level 1 camp certified. While Troop Camp Certification Level 2 (TCC2) is optional for attendance, Level 2 certification is required for building fires at camp.
Troops will receive more information once registered and an initial, nonrefundable troop deposit of $35 is paid.
This program is for all levels of Girl Scouts. Full Balance due no later than September 3rd, 2025. Registration closes August 22nd, 2025.
