Attention: Troops and Juliette Juniors and Older!
Join your sister Girl Scouts from Southern Arizona for a giant camp
out at Roper Lake State Park! It’s a weekend of fun, adventure, and
making new friends.
Jamboree is $65/per person (adults free per Safety Activity
Checkpoints) and includes:
- Tent camping space (no RVs, trailers, toyhaulers)
- Tee shirt, lanyard and event patch
- Programming all
day Saturday and Saturday night Yee Haw dance party *some
limited capacity activities will not allow adult participation
(canoe, paddleboard etc)
- Troops can park up to 3
cars/trucks/vans
Space is limited; registrations will be on a first
come first serve basis. Registration closes when full or
January 7th, 2024 whichever is sooner.
Troop Leaders will need girl’s first and last names, date of
birth, and shirt size when registering, as well as name and
training dates for TCC2 (outdoor training) and first aid adult(s).
Check in will start at 3 pm on 4/05/2024 and all participants must
check out by 10 am on 4/07/2024.
- All girls must be registered Girl Scouts and all adults
attending must be a current member with a completed background
check.
- Activity selections will be sent by 11/1/23 and due by
1/8/24 and troops can rate their top choices. Staff will do their
best to give troops their top choices.
- This year, we have
some premium activities that will take up 2 activity slots
- Campsites will be assigned in the spring prior to the
event.
- Troops must follow safety activity checkpoint ratios.
Juliettes each need 1 adult and all Juliettes will camp together in
a group, sharing adults.
- Each troop must bring an adult who
has completed Troop Camp Certification Level 2 (TCC2) training, and
as well as a certified first aider.
- Parking instructions
will be sent at a later date, max allowed vehicles per troop is
3. Additional costs will apply for more than 3 vehicles.
- Deposits are $10 per person and are non-refundable but is
transferable to another girl in your troop.
- Males are
permitted and will be accommodated in a tent site in the staff
camping loop.
- Participants must provide all gear and
prepare meals at their campsite.
