First Responders Challenge & Community Day
Free Event!
Girl Scouts and local First Responders are teaming up for a day of community, service, fun, and friendly competition!
The First Responders Challenge & Community Day is designed to raise awareness of Girl Scouts while recognizing and celebrating the incredible Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, EMS Personnel, and Search & Rescue Teams who serve our community every day.
Throughout the event, Girl Scouts will be paired with First Responders to form teams that will compete in a variety of relay races, obstacle courses, challenges, and team-building games. The day is focused on building positive relationships between youth and public safety professionals while highlighting teamwork, leadership, courage, and community service.
Younger Girl Scouts and those who prefer not to compete will have the opportunity to participate as team cheerleaders, helping create an exciting and encouraging atmosphere for all participants.
The winning team will earn community bragging rights and possession of the Challenge Title until next year's event, which organizers hope will become an annual tradition.
This event is open to the public and will feature:
A local food bank will be on site accepting canned food donations and providing a community service activity, giving attendees an opportunity to support local families while enjoying the event.
The First Responders Challenge & Community Day celebrates service, leadership, community partnerships, and the spirit of helping others while creating a fun and memorable experience for families throughout the region.
