Attention all Volunteers!
Here in Southern Arizona, we are lucky enough to have two partial solar eclipses on the horizon, on October 14th, 2023, and April 8th, 2024! We are having a professional development event to help you get ready to give your Scouts safe, fun, and educational eclipse viewing! We will be going over some hands-on, Girl Scout friendly activities to learn about the Earth Moon system and some crafts to create safe eclipse observation tools! This program will be led by Planetary Astronomer Dr. Larry Lebofsky.
