
Troop Camp Certification
Troop Camp Certification provides volunteers with the information you need to prepare and guide girls on fun and safe outdoor adventures, as well as trips away from home.
Troop Camp Certification — Level 1
Completion of Troop Camp Certification Level One (TCC1) means adult volunteers may guide girls on approved group outdoor experiences that include indoor sleeping or cabin camping, and indoor cooking or dining.
NOT COVERED: tent camping, wood-carving with pocket knives, any outdoor cooking, fire-building, or campfires.
Troop Camp Certification Level One is completed as two independent studies. Please review the following materials:

After familiarizing yourself with the above materials, please complete:

Troop Camp Certification — Level 2
Completion of Troop Camp Certification Level Two (TCC2) means adult volunteers may guide girls on approved outdoor experiences including overnight tent-camping, knife safety, fire-building and outdoor cooking with approved fuel sources. To receive Troop Camp Certification Level Two you must first have completed TCC1.
This training is in-person. Please check our website calendar for dates and registration links.
Should scheduling conflicts arise, we can also accept Troop Camp Certification completed with Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pines Council. Visit their website for scheduling and course details.
