A Service Unit is a community of volunteers in a geographic area of
the council, providing an essential support system for volunteers,
girls, and families in that region. All volunteers are welcome and
encouraged to attend Service Unit meetings!
Service Unit volunteers meet throughout the year to share ideas, receive training, and hear first-hand about upcoming events and council news. Service Units organize events like local service projects, programming opportunities for girls, celebrations, and ceremonies, and more.
Girl Scout staff also regularly attend Service Unit meetings to
offer training and expertise.
Our council is divided into 12 Service Units, led by experienced, dedicated volunteers who support and serve girls, troops, and volunteers in their area.
