GS adVENTUREs Program Pathways

adVENTURES 101

The Girl Scouts GS adVENTUREs participants (Adventurers) will go through the design thinking process, from identifying a problem to solving it with a business idea. In teams, based on age, participants will have the fall semester to create a business plan and prepare a pitch presentation for a Shark Tank style panel.

  • August 2023–December 2023
  • All meetings are in-person and are held at Angel’s Place from 5:30-7 PM – unless otherwise noted
adVENTUREs Pro

Anyone who completes GS adVENTUREs 101 have the option to continue on to GS adVENTUREs Pro in the spring. Pro allows the Adventurers to take their 101 projects through the materialization stages:

  • Prototype
  • Iteration
  • Testing
  • Implementation
adVENTUREs Mindset Workshop

As part of our new GS adVENTUREs entrepreneurship program, GSSOAZ is offering the adVENTUREs Mindset Workshop to introduce older Girl Scouts to the entrepreneurial mindset.

The goal of adVENTUREs Mindset workshops is to plant the seed of entrepreneurial thinking using problem-solving games and relatable activities. This 3-hour workshop sets a baseline of entrepreneurial knowledge and introduces Girl Scouts to a worldview that may be new to them.

The adVENTUREs Mindset Workshop is perfect for Girl Scouts who:

  • Plan to participate in the next GS adVENTUREs pilot
  • Have questions about GS adVENTUREs (and entrepreneurship in general)
  • Want to have an edge in the next Cookie Season
  • Love exploring something new!

There are four opportunities to experience the adVENTUREs Mindset Workshop, but each one is the SAME workshop. Sign up for the one that fits your busy schedule! This program is for Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors.
