Thin Mint Sprint

Join us virtually for a family-friendly fun run on Sunday, September 27, 2020!

Stay healthy while staying safe this season by participating in our all-virtual Thin Mint Sprint event. We’re switching up our annual walk and run series this year and offering the chance to join in anywhere! Participants will register for their races, choose their own course, and share their times.

The Thin Mint Sprint 5k and the 1 Mile Do-si-do Dash are ideal for new runners as well as elite runners aiming to PR. Not a runner? Both the 5k and 1 Mile are open to walkers, too.

All runners who participate will receive a Bib, medal, shirt, and a Thin Mint Sprint patch. Tickets are $40, with mailing cost in the price. For additional family members, the tickets are discounted. Proceeds from the event will be used to support our Social Impact Program, which provides the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to community girls in need.

*Participants must register by September 1st to be mailed their race package. Registrants after that date must come by the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona’s office for curbside pick-up!

Race Packets:

All runners who participate will receive a Bib, medal, shirt, and a Thin Mint Sprint patch. Tickets for one person are $35. They will be available for pick-up at the Girl Scouts' Angel Charity Place for Girls (4300 E Broadway Blvd) on the following days:

Race Packet Pick-Up Times:

  • Thursday, September 24th 2pm to 7pm  
  • Friday, September 25th 10am to 4pm 
T-Shirts:

Participants must register by Thursday, August 15, 2020 to be guaranteed a race shirt. T-shirts for registrations received after August 15th are subject to availability.

For Girls: Thin Mint Sprint Training Program
Lace up your shoes and let’s get moving!

The Thin Mint Sprint Training Program was created for girls of all ages to prepare for the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona’s Thin Mint Sprint and to encourage active lifestyles. The training program will help runners/walkers of all levels to prepare for the 5K or 1-mile races.

Girls can purchase the badge at the Girl Scout Shop, and find badge requirements online.
