Lead the Way - Reflection and Celebration

Open to Adult Members, Seniors and Ambassadors

Girls "do" many things in Girl Scouts like camping, selling cookies, earning badges and Leadership Journey awards and travelling. But how to girls learn about why they are doing what they are doing? - Through reflection. Reflection is a way to add meaning to an activity. At the Spring Lead the Way - Reflection and Celebration, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to incorporate reflection into activities with girls of all ages. In addition, participants will learn when and how to incorporate ceremonies throughout the Girl Scout year, how to bridge girls from one level to the next, and how to give girls a direct voice in their ceremonies.

Lead the Way workshops are a great opportunity to network with volunteers in your area and learn more about what's happening in Girl Scouts!

All participants will receive a Getting Started with Ceremonies kit.
