Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona provides training to adult members as part of its commitment to girls. Volunteers have the opportunity to develop their skills, increase their knowledge of Girl Scouting and help girls Discover, Connect, and Take Action in their communities and in their world. GSSoAz believes that prepared adults are key to the Girl Scout movement.
All volunteers are required to complete GS 101, All Safety Activity Checkpoints, and attend a Welcome Workshop.
GSSoAz also offers workshops and conferences year round to enhance one’s Girl Scouting journey, connect volunteers, and explore the issues that are most pressing to girls today. To view dates for upcoming Lead the Way Conferences and adult workshops, browse the calendar below:

Outdoor Training, Module One
Module one of three for troop camper certification.
Outdoor Adventure Bound, Module Two
This is module two of three for troop camper certification. It covers camping basics like kaper charts, meal planning and ideas for fun activities in the outdoors. This module will help prepare you for the last module which is a live class in knots, knives and new skills as well as outdoor cooking methods and campfires.
