A Holiday Extravaganza!

The American Legion Auxiliary is having a fund raiser for women veterans on 11/29 and 11/30. They are looking for Girl Scouts to do some caroling. You would pick a specific time slot maybe for an hour on each day.

Troop visits from Council!

Whether you are a new troop just starting out or an established troop who has been active for years- we want to come visit your troop and see what great things your Girl Scouts accomplishing!

Staff from Council is available to come to your troop meeting to visit with the girls, bring updated and fun Girl Scout news, sing songs, and provide an engaging activity specified to your level(s) or lesson plan.

Keep an ear out as we will be contacting troops throughout the year, or give one of your level coaches a call to schedule a visit.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon!

What is the Big/Little sis program?

What is this program, and how do troops get started?? The Big/Little sis program is brand new at the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona! There are many fun ways to participate: your troop can link up with another troop and be sister troops (can be older and younger troops- or- troops of same level), a Girl Scout (in a troop or individual) can be paired up with an older or younger sis to mentor, or girls can join via our Pen Pal program and connect with sisters at a distance through letters, e-mails, photos, etc. Sisters can do lots of different things-it's all up to the girls/troops. Attending a Council program together is a great way to get started! S'more Songs is our first ever Big/Little only event from Council just for sister troops! This event is March 29th 5:30-7:30pm at the Hacienda Program Center....come meet, mingle, and marsh some mallows with your sisters(only $2 for girls and adults)! If you want to learn more about what the program looks like or are interested in RSVP'ing to S'more Songs, please contact Elisa at
