Join us to learn the basics of traveling! We’ll show you the tips and tricks for traveling locally, national, and abroad. We will also teach you how to fundraise to save up for some small regional trips and a BIG summer 2012 trip.
Who can participate?
All Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors are welcome (grades 4-12)! Please note however that Juniors may only participate in local and regional trips per Girl Scout policy.
What will we be doing?
Our main points of focus will be discovering budgeting and fundraising, cultural awareness and the ins and outs of trip planning. By employing all of the skills we’ve gained, we will take action and head out on a number of local excursions , culminating in one big summer trip!
How do I get involved?
Our meetings are the first and third Saturdays of each month from 10am-noon. Just show up and we’ll get you started on your journey!
