Introducing Doubleknot, Our New Programs and Properties System!

Girls making cupcakes

Just in time for the new troop year, Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona is introducing a brand-new program registration and property reservation system, Doubleknot. And it's about to make signing up for Girl Scout programs, events, and camping opportunities a whole lot easier!

Used by many Girl Scout councils across the United States, Doubleknot allows girls, volunteers, and families to sign up for programs and book council properties all in one place, with the click of a button.

Currently, all girl programs being held in October and November are available on Doubleknot, as well as all three council properties located in Pima County: the Hacienda Program Center, Camp Whispering Pines, and Angel Charity Place for Girls. As the year progresses, upcoming girl programs will be added, along with council properties in Cochise and Yuma Counties.

This new system, which replaces eBiz, will streamline the program registration process, enable troops to easily reserve council facilities for troop meetings, and allow volunteers to book overnight camping trips and camp activities without council assistance. Going on your next Girl Scout adventure is now easier than ever!

Read on for more information about Doubleknot, including instructions for getting started.

Doubleknot Q&A

Rental Fees

As we bring Doubleknot on board, and open Angel Charity Place for Girls to troop use, we will begin charging a $3 flat fee to hold troop meetings or events at the Hacienda Program Center and Angel Charity Place for Girls. We know this is a big change, and we thought long and hard about this decision.

Ultimately, our goal with Doubleknot is to upgrade council technology for the benefit of our girls and volunteers. Now, property reservations and program registration will be as easy as shopping on Amazon or booking a hotel room online.

Our new rental fees will help cover the cost of this new technology, as well as contribute to maintaining all of our council facilities, from the swimming pool at the Hacienda to the STEM lab in the Place for Girls.

We know our volunteers already give so much of their time, money, and energy to Girl Scouting, and cost should not keep you and your girls from using and enjoying our council spaces. If the fee is a challenge for you or your troop, please contact contact Director of Operations Lesley Rich at lrich@girlscoutssoaz.org or 520-319-3160.

Making A Reservation

Reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your reservation is not guaranteed until you have completed the check-out process.

Doubleknot accepts cookie credit! Just type in the cookie credit card information as you would with a credit or debit card, and check-out normally.

Using Angel Charity Place for Girls

Now that it is open to troop use, Angel Charity Place for Girls' program hours are officially:

  • Tuesday - Friday, 1:00pm-8:00pm
  • Saturdays, 9:00am-7:00pm

The Tucson Girl Scout Shop, located inside the building, has new hours as well:

  • Tuesday - Friday, 10:00am-6:00pm
  • Saturdays, 10:00am-3:00pm

Angel Charity Place for Girls (including the Girl Scout Shop) will be closed on Sundays and Mondays.

And just like Camp Whispering Pines and the Hacienda, we have a campus site host! Max will facilitate building use across the Tucson campus so that volunteers no longer need to keep track of key cards or worry about setting the alarm as they exit the property.
