Training Essentials

Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona provides training to adult members as part of our commitment to girls. We believe that prepared adults are key to the Girl Scout movement. Volunteers have the opportunity to develop their skills, increase their knowledge of Girl Scouting, and help girls discover, connect, and take action in their communities and the world.

Below you'll find the required Training Essentials to get you started on your Girl Scout journey. We also offer Enrichment Training that builds on these essentials.

However, Helping Hands Volunteers can attend a field trip to spend time with their Girl Scout, or serve as the second adult at a cookie booth.

If you are interested in fulfilling all aspects of a troop support role with your girl's troop, we recommend you become a Troop Support Volunteer. (See above.)
