Cookies for Change 2018

Last year, Cookies for Change helped make Angel Charity Place for Girls a reality!
This year, we're encouraging girls and their troops to be catalysts for change in our community, by using their cookie funds to take action for a cause they care about.

Unleash Your Inner Leader & Use Your Voice For Good

When you're a G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader) you do great things. You believe in taking action and in righting the wrongs you see. You believe we are more powerful together than we are apart.

And you make your voice heard—with bold moves like advocating for positive change in your community, standing up against everyday injustices, mobilizing others to donate or volunteer for causes, meeting with public officials and community leaders to educate them about important issues, and lots more. You are the power behind the G.I.R.L. Agenda.

Through Cookies for Change, it's up to YOU and your troop to decide how you'll use your cookie funds to advance the G.I.R.L. Agenda, and make the world a better place.

Get Started

Together with your troop, decide on a G.I.R.L. Agenda project.
Will you help register your neighbors to vote? Create a petition to protect public lands? Design a service project to support a cause you care about? You and your Girl Scout sisters decide! (Need some help brainstorming? Scroll down to the "Be Inspired!" dropdown at the bottom of the page.)

Next, make a plan, using the G.I.R.L. Agenda Civic Action Toolkit. Calculate how much that plan will cost: do you need clipboards? Gardening equipment? Paint or pens? Access to technology? What about stamps and envelopes? Once you've figured out your supply needs, you'll know how many boxes your Cookies for Change goal should be.

Last, but not leastspread the word about how you and your troop are taking a stand for something you believe in! Share your Cookies for Change goal at cookie booths and on Digital Cookie. Tell community members what the G.I.R.L. Agenda is all about. And share with your friends and family why you're passionate about the cause you and your troop are supporting. Remember: every girl has a voice, and every girl’s voice is important.

(Pssst - don't forget to tell your Girl Scout sisters, too! The Cookie Team can't wait to hear how you're making the world a better place through your Cookies for Change project.)
