Leadership means having integrity and working hard to make the world a better place. Leaders are courageous, energetic, unselfish, enthusiastic, and reliable. Leaders are good listeners, and bring out the best in those around them. Good judgement and a sense of justice, and tact with others matter too. And it never hurts to have a good sense of humor!
Advice for girls
If you hold up your hand and offer to help, chances are somebody needs your help and will accept. You learn by doing in many ways, and the people around you notice your initiative, willingness to work and your wish to make a difference. These naturally lead to more responsibilities and confidence in you from others. Acting thoughtfully and following through on what you say you will do go a long way in this world!
