Through her career Jones has been an exemplary leader who has inspired others with her compassion, determination, and will. Jones continues to make the world a better place for all those around her.
On Leadership
I believe that leadership is about balance: the delicate balance of being strong and sure of yourself while willing to continually self-reflect and identify areas for personal growth; the balance of doing your research with careful planning while taking risks and stretching beyond the expected; the balance of maintaining close relationships with staff to maintain morale and a healthy culture while ensuring everyone knows they are there to do a job- and do it well!; the balance of leading people to go where they never thought they would go while not losing ground in the activity of the day!
