Senior Vice President
National Bank ofArizona
Leadership means setting a good example and living out my values every day. It means encouraging others to be their best.
Leadership means celebrating achievements and victories among the common journey. It means trying new things and pushing the envelope of what you think you can accomplish. It means giving back to others so they can reach their leadership potential too.
Lesli Pintor is the highest ranking woman in commercial lending at National Bank ofArizonain southernArizona, and one of the senior women in the state. While Pintor was never a Girl Scout, her personal and professional mantras embody Girl Scout ideals, making it fitting that Pintor was named to the committee of 100. To the girls of today, Pintor emphasizes that leadership is not to be taken lightly, “Leadership isn’t about managing people or being in a position with a title. Leadership is about knowing what you believe in, living out those beliefs each and every day, and encouraging others.” To Pintor, life is not just personal success, but helping others find ways to succeed as well, “Each person brings unique gifts and talents to the world. Yours counts too! Find out what they are, embrace them, practice them. Build relationship and help each other on the leadership journey. We all need help along the way.”
Pay it forward. I am trying to live by this quote each and every day, as a parent, as a mentor, as a manager in my organization, and as a leader in the community.
