On Leadership
Leadership to me means influence and the ability to motivate others to action. Girl Scout programs help young women build confidence in themselves and establish a “voice”. As we continue towards promoting women in leadership positions it is vital that young women today self-actualize to accept the challenges of the future.
Advice for girls
Lead or be lead. The choices are simple and it’s up to a girl to decide what role she wants to play in the future. Hopefully by learning and growing herself, she will realize the important contributions she has within her to give to the community.
