  • Excellent Training Opportunity for Women in Tucson

    YWCA Tucson Presents Skills for Successful Employment, a component of YWorks, is a comprehensive employment education program designed to address the employment needs of women who are unemployed, underemployed or transitioning in the workforce. This program will help you: ■ Assess your personal skills■ Identify your individual interests■ Learn interview skills■ Learn to market yourself■ Improve your computer skills (Basic Skills, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet)■ Review educational options■ Create an effective résumé■ Develop job search strategies■ Learn from others in weekly job strategy groups■ Receive career guidance for six months The Skills for Successful Employment Workshops consists of four days of training.  Two days of job-related workshops take place on November 12 & 19…
