Earth Hour Celebration: Will you join us?

World Wildlife Fund and the City of Tucson invite you and your friends to participate in the world’s largest single campaign for the planet by attending Tucson’s Earth Hour celebration on Saturday, March 31! So gather your friends and enjoy a family-friendly night out as Tucson turns off its lights for Earth Hour — 8:30-9:30pm — to show its commitment to a sustainable future. The festivities will include:

• music

• a candlelit celebration

• food and drink vendors

• t-shirt giveaways

• great speakers

Last year more than 5,200 cities and towns in 135 countries worldwide switched off their lights for Earth Hour 2011, sending a powerful message for action on climate change. This Earth Hour, join the global movement by participating with us at this festive event in downtown Tucson!
