Girls Take Action in Midst of Fire & Evacuations

Our girls in Sierra Vista are hard at work this week rounding up donations for both firefighters battling the fire and community members forced to evacuate their homes. Troop 662 has been volunteering at the evacuation shelters and Troop 1770 donated $150 worth of their cookie money to the collection efforts.

Items in need are: baby wipes, chapstick, sunscreen, water, gatorade, bandanas, ziplock bags, eye drops/wash and energy/protein bars for the Evacuation Shelters & Firemen in Sierra Vista. In addition, they are also collecting headache medicine, boot laces and plastic eating utensils.

If you can help in any way, please drop your donations off at any Girl Scout Shop location in Southern Arizona and we will make sure the supplies get to the right places.

We’re proud of you girls! Keep up the good work!
