I’m coming to you today with exciting news about some travel opportunities for Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors as well as adults and alumnae. To celebrate the Girl Scouts’ 100th year anniversary we are offering three great trips in partnership with EF Tours. We’re not leaving the younger girls out… there are upcoming adventures in the Pathways Guide, due out in May for Daisies, Brownies and Juniors. Stay tuned for that!
Below you’ll find info on the three trips in summer 2012 and information sessions about them. Girls can register in troops, or individually. If you’re interested in international travel for your girl, you’ll want to sign up and place a $95 deposit by Thursday, April 7th to get $100 off! Sorry, no discount on the Birthplace trips.
Please note trip dates are subject to change based on better airfare on a different day of the week. Also if you have traveled with EF Tours before you get $100 off!
The London to Lurcern trip is for girls only, One Savannah trip is girls only and the other is adults only. We are traveling with a very reputable tour company and accompanying adult chaperones will be Council Staff who are experienced international travelers. Please note that we will have regular meetings to allow the girls to get to know each other and prepare for travel. Please call or email me if you have questions!

4 days–includes walking tour of Savannah, historic Savannah carriage tour, Heritage tour at the Juliette Low birthplace, Tybee Island, Ft. Jackson, Dolphin cruise, 1st GS headquarters, Andrew Low house, Laurel Grove cemetery, evening activities as well as some free time.
Cost is approximately $1089 (pending departure fees). Price includes: airfare from Phoenix, air conditioned motorcoach, hotels, breakfast and dinner daily; lunch on day 2 and 3, full time tour director.

Are you ready for this?… This 11 day tour includes these sites in London… St. Paul’s Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, Changing of the Guard (if scheduled), Piccadilly Circus, Oxford St. Trafalgar Square, London Eye and Thames River Cruise, Windsor Castle and more… and Pax Lodge. And then in Paris we’ll see the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, Notre Dame Cathedral, Louvre and an optional outing to Versailles. And then in Lucerne we’ll see the Lion monument, Chapel bridge, a swiss folklore event and an optional trip to Mount Pilatus. And then in Adelboden we’ll visit Our Chalet. Cost is approximately $3327(pending departure fees). You get $100 off if you register and place a $95 non refundable deposit by April 7th. This trip includes special Girl Scout program at both Pax Lodge and Our Chalet which includes a pinning ceremony with pin you can only get by visiting.
