World Thinking Day (on Saturday), though small in numbers, was a great success! Though there was threat of rain and the wind did blow, Seven troops made it to the event. Their display boards were beautiful, food delicious and swaps were greatly appreciated. Girls from other troops came and asked some very wonderful questions. In all, we had 112 girls! We also had a table with Heifer International which was an excellent and very appropriate addition. Finally our Fashion, Flags, and Rhythm show was really fun in the Hacienda Amphitheater. Girls had a chance to present flags, wear fashion from their country and teach the audience some new words! The amphitheater is a great space for perhaps a drumming group or dance troop to come next year to finish off the event. Next year we hope to make it bigger because the more tables and countries represented the merrier.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this awesome event happen!
