Are you recycling your Cookie boxes?

You should be!

Today, almost all of our cartons are made of 100% recycled fiber. Most of the recycled material is made up of a mixture of newspaper, office paper, cardboard and printed waste paper from publishers and printing companies. Our cartons are usually accepted by recycling facilities which accept magazine or mixed paper. The plastic trays are all polystyrene 6 (PS 6) and can also be recycled. The recycle symbol is printed on all trays with the exception of Tagalongs due to a lack of space. The Tagalongs tray does have the PS6 printed on the bottom.

If you don’t have a place to recycle your cookie packaging, bring it by here and we’ll recycle it for you!

Remember to ask your customers to please recycle their packaging once they’ve enjoyed their delicious cookies!

We’ve always been green!

Our Direct Sale Girl Scout Cookie program is green in so many ways! Share how your cookie sale is green on our Facebook page or send Super Kristi an email at kpallack@sahuarogsc.org! If you share, you’ll receive a special patch!
