Jennifer Brotherton, left, and Stefan Rivenbark [see attached article] load up their share of Girl Scout cookies-for-sale at the Bekins Moving and Storage Warehouse, 4101 E. Columbia St. This year the Scouts are shifting their sales strategy, moving to a “cookies on demand” approach rather than taking advance orders. No more long waits for Samoas or Thin Mints. Some 321,000 boxes of cookies arrived for distribution at the warehouse on Friday. According to Debbie Rich, chief executive officer of the Sahuaro Girl Scout Council, the most popular cookies are Thin Mints.
