We had our first conference call with GSUSA today about our Journey progress! They confirmed that they know the time line is short but as long as we get started on our Journeys, and have some sort of idea for the take action projects- we’re good. What a relief! I know everyone was really worried about that.
Have heard its been difficult doing the story section of the Journey books. Talked to Timalee and Debbie about it this afternoon and they thought wouldn’t it be cool to have a guest reader come and do the story part? Even if it is a parent or a librarian, etc. That might hold the girl’s attention a little more because it will be new and exciting. We also discussed it probably needs to be done in an interactive storybook type setting where you are asking lots of questions to keep them engaged during the story. Hope that helps anyone who is having this same problem!
